Adobe Photoshop is an imposing photo editing application which is being used worldwide. Released more than 30 years ago, Photoshop has become the industry’s standard in the field of raster graphics editing as well as digital arts. The popularity of Photoshop can be judged by the fact that a new verb was coined for image editing i.e. “Photoshopped”. Since 1988 Adobe Photoshop has come up in many versions and the one we are reviewing here is Adobe Photoshop CC 2020.
 Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Inc. for Windows and macOS. It was originally created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll . Since then, the software has become the industry standard not only in raster graphics editing, but in digital art as a whole. The software's name has thus become a generic trademark , leading to its usage as a verb (e.g. "to photoshop an image", " photoshopping ", and " photoshop contest ") although Adobe discourages such use. [5] Photoshop can edit and compose raster images in multiple layers and supports masks , alpha compositing and several color models including RGB , CMYK , CIELAB, spot color , and duotone . Photoshop uses its own PSD and PSB file formats to support these features. Adobe Premiere Pro is a video editing program that is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud software collection, as well as Adobe CS6 – or Adobe Creative Suite. Premiere Pro is used to edit videos, including movies, and is quickly becoming the go-to program for filmmakers all over the world, both amateur and pro.

When you're talking about film and video editing, there are two types of editing processes: linear and non-linear. Linear video editing was the way video was edited before digital video recorders and cameras became the primary way of shooting film.   In linear editing, you would scrub through the footage by dragging the playhead in the program you were using to make the edits. You would select, arrange, and edit images and sound in the sequence of the footage. In other words, you had to "roll" through the entire film to find the place where you wanted to perform edits, then make those changes. The edits that you made changed the original version. In fact, you could say the original version was destroyed. read more…

        Adobe After Effects is a software application for creating motion graphics and special effects used in video, online content and presentations. After Effects is available on both Mac OS and Windows computers. After Effects is used widely in TV and film post-production for the creation of special effects, animation, and video compositing. Projects created using After Effects can be used in broadcast TV, video, on the web, in-store displays, and kiosks. After Effects is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud .After Effects can be used to design titles, create cartoon characters, and apply animation. Although it can do all these things, it is not the same as video editing software. This program is best used to apply effects after the footage has been edited, or to create animation and motion graphics from otherwise static objects.
